Tungsten (W) is one of the so-called transition metals with the atomic number 74,it's shiny gray metal in a solid state at room temperature.Tungsten has many outstanding characteristics,it has the highest melting point of all metal elements of 3422°C,and boiling point around 5,700°C closing to the surface temperature of Sun,thus it can withstand a very high temperature.With a high density of 19.3 g/cm³, closely to gold density,tungsten is widely used as balance weights for aircraft and helicopter.Tungsten is also resisted to various acid in room temperature,ever for hydrofluoric* acid and aqua regia.
