Feature
Molybdenum-rhenium alloy is a kind of solid solution alloy with excellent high temperature strength and creep resistance. Rhenium forms β solid solution in molybdenum, with a maximum solubility of 53% (rhenium atoms) at 2250ºC. The addition of rhenium changes the mechanical deformation process of pure molybdenum from single sliding to twinning and sliding in hot and cold working, and inhibits the embrittlement of carbon and oxygen, so that the machinability, physical and chemical properties and thermoelectric properties of molybdenum alloy are improved.
Application field
Spherical molybdenum-rhenium powder is widely used in the fields of plasma surface spraying welding of high-speed wear-resistant parts of aerospace and automotive engines, precision forming of electronic components, high-performance targets and 3D printing.
